When you visit our website, we collect various personal data for different purposes. Below we explain what information we collect, for what purposes, how we receive the data, what your rights are and how you can exercise them. We respect your privacy and ensure that all your personal data are treated confidentially. The following issues also arise from the regulations surrounding the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) that will replace the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act from 25 May 2018.
PERSONAL DATA AND GOALS OF DATA PROCESSING
In order to offer you a good and personal service, we need some information from you. If you register with us, your name and (e-mail) address will be stored. The data comes directly to us and is also stored on the mail server of our hosting party. In some cases we pass this information on to third parties, but we only use it for services that you have specifically requested, so when you place an order with us or when you change your data.
We do not use so-called Special Personal Data. Our website does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we can not check if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us by e-mail and we will delete this information.
We do not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people.
We process three types of data: identity, payment and traffic data.
We process identity data for administrative and commercial purposes, such as processing your order (administratively), delivery of your order at the delivery address chosen by you (administrative), possibly doing, possibly personalized, offers and promotions or providing relevant information or newsletters for you (commercial).
Below you will find an overview of the identity data that we process:
• First and last name
• Address data
• Phone number
• Date of birth
• Account number
• E-mail address
• IP address
We use the order data to process your order and deliver the package to you as soon as possible. Your e-mail address can be useful when, for example, something is wrong with your package. The e-mail address you enter here is not used for marketing purposes.
When you register for the newsletter, your e-mail address can be used for marketing purposes, but only for our company. If you want to sign up for the newsletter, you can always use a link in the newsletter. Your information will not be provided to third parties for commercial purposes.
We process payment information for administrative purposes such as the payment of your order. When registering payment details, we only note your payment method. Of course, bank details are not stored and every payment option is secured.
With traffic data you can think of registering an IP address, installing a cookie, registering the click behavior and analyzing your navigation on our website. With the traffic data we analyze the surfing behavior of our visitors. We look at how the navigation is used, which pages are visited and which articles are ordered so that we can improve the familiarity, functionality and content of our site (and digital newsletters).
Cookies are used on our website. A cookie is a small file that is sent with the pages of our website and stored by your browser on your hard drive from your computer. The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers on a subsequent visit. Cookies can also be used via third parties that are enabled by us.
When you visit our website for the first time, or after repeated visits after the cookies have been removed by you, a notification is displayed (cookie agreement or cookie consent) in which you are informed about the cookies we use. The moment you click further on our website, you give us permission, depending on the chosen settings, to use all cookies and plug-ins as described in the cookie agreement statement and this privacy statement. You are free to disable cookies through your browser. Keep in mind that it is possible that our website will no longer work optimally.
We have no control over what the providers of the above applications themselves do with the cookies. For more information about these applications and how they deal with cookies, please see the privacy statements of these parties (note: they can change regularly).
If you give us permission through the cookie settings, cookies from the following applications are used:
• Google Analytics
Your data will be kept by us for a longer period of time, but never longer than is necessary for carrying out activities, unless we have to keep your data for longer because of a statutory regulation. In principle, your data is stored until you take action yourself.
Processors who receive your data
The personal data we receive are also processed by and stored on the servers of the following companies:
• Total Domain and Neostrada (hosting website and email)
• Mailchimp (newsletter)
• Google (analytical user data)
In the necessary cases, processor agreements have been laid down for this. In the case of Mailchimp and Google this may mean that your data will be stored outside the EU. Both parties have been certified for this through the EU-US Privacy Shield.
You have the right to inspect, the right to rectification, the right to submit a complaint via the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the right to transfer and the right to stop using data. For this you can contact us by e-mail or telephone. The use of these rights is only possible via e-mail. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, at your request. We would also like to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority
No physical copies of your personal data will be made. Your data is only managed in the aforementioned systems and software of us and of the aforementioned processors. The devices we use to access your data are each also secured with security software, a password and / or fingerprint. The number of devices that have access to your data is limited to only the necessary devices.
Our ordering process, our contact forms and the online payment options are secured. The pages are protected with a secure SSL connection, so that your data is encrypted and it is impossible for third parties to view your (credit card) data. You can check the security by right-clicking on the relevant page and selecting ‘Properties’. You will now get a window with the connection data. With ‘Connection’ it is stated that it is an SSL connection. Your credit card details, such as the number and the expiration date, will of course not be saved. We only provide your information to the company that facilitates payment transactions. In addition, we do not provide your details to third parties, except insofar as laws and regulations require us to do so. The data will only be used for the purposes described in this privacy statement.
Data leaks in which the personal data are at risk are reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, if possible within 72 hours. If that does not work, an explanation will be given for the delay. Both the nature of the infringement and recommendations on how possible negative consequences can be limited, must be reported to the person (s) concerned and to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. The obligation to report does not apply if it is unlikely that the infringement involves a high risk for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

If after reading this privacy statement you still have questions about the protection of your privacy during your visits on our website, please contact us in writing, by telephone or by e-mail. We may amend this privacy statement in the interim if developments occur in the area of, for example, technology, legislation, processing or provision of services.
