“Horn is among the most exciting young vocalists in jazz…”
- The New York Times.
You would almost think that Jazzmeia Horn was destined to become a jazz vocalist because of her name, but when she was a teenager and she was gifted a CD from Sarah Vaughan that fire started to burn in her. Since then, she has been seen as the new sensation in vocal jazz, a fact which she also underlines with her third big band album ‘Dear Love’ which contains phenomenal singing, scats and spoken word. Together with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, the top big band of the Netherlands, she will provide a festive concert where you will hear pieces from 'Dear Love' as well as new work from her upcoming new album 'Messages'!
