A Jazzy New Year

The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw wishes you a jazzy new year!
It was a rich year for our orchestra: two new festivals: Jazz & Vrijheid and Big Sounds Amsterdam, adventurous crossovers in Limburg with JOC gaat Vreemd, we met the second batch of JONG JOC and took the stage with top soloists Jeangu Macrooy, Jazzmeia Horn and Shai Maestro. In addition, we once again embraced Dutch jazz heritage with our "Dutch Jazz Heritage" series but at the same time played with jazz musicians of tomorrow such as SMANDEM. Ella Zirina, Jesse Schilderink, Kika Sprangers and Alistair Payne in The Jazz Influencers. We want to thank our audience and team immensely and wish everyone a happy and jazzy new year!
