Love’s In Need Of Love Today is a direct-to-disc live album by Trijntje Oosterhuis, recorded at Artone Studio in collaboration with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. ​​On this album, Trijntje Oosterhuis pays tribute to her icon Stevie Wonder and his iconic album Songs in the Key of Life, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Direct-to-disc is a recording technique in which music is cut directly onto vinyl during performance, instead of first being recorded onto tape or digitally. The result is a pure, unedited recording without post-production edits: a beautiful snapshot of a room full of fantastic musicians.
