Jazz & Vrijheid: Keti Koti Gala

Keti Koti is the day on which we celebrate and commemorate the abolition of slavery. With the Keti Koti Gala Concert we will festively close this important day. An all-star line-up of artists, together with the renowned Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, will pay tribute to the resilience and cultural wealth of Suriname. Expect kaseko, kawina, spoken word, soul and jazz brought by artists who connect the present, past and future in an innovative way with respect for tradition.
