Dutch Jazz Heritage: Sinatra & Basie ft. Ruben Hein
Frank Sinatra is, without a doubt, the greatest jazz singer and crooner of the 20th century. Multiple generations grew up with classics as 'Fly Me To The Moon', 'I Get A Kick Out Of You' and 'New York, New York'. Frank Sinatra enjoyed playing with big bands, such as Count Basie and his Orchestra, and did so frequently. These concerts became the creative highlights of his career and defined his recognizable sound. The singer, who already became a legend during his lifetime, performed five times at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw therefore brings an ultimate big band ode to these special concerts. With singer Ruben Hein taking care of vocals, you can expect a good dose of swing, charisma and - of course! - the well-known hits. It might as well be swing!
